Every renovation project with SMC Construction, Inc. will begin with a consultation. We will send a team member to your home to discuss the potential project. They will take measurements and ask about your budget, must-haves, and goals. This consultation will form the basis of our proposal and help determine if we will be a good match for you and your project.

Once the consultation is complete, it is time for our team to write the proposal. Our proposals are always tailored to your specific project. You will not get a generic proposal when you work with SMC Construction, Inc.

Your proposal will be available for your review through our online client portal when it is complete. We will work with you to ensure the proposal accurately reflects your door replacement.

After the proposal is complete, you can either accept or deny it. If you accept the proposal, we will begin work right away. First, we collaborate with you to schedule a date for your door installation. Then, we will start gathering the materials and permits needed for the job.

Do not hesitate to contact us throughout the process with questions and concerns. We will keep you updated on the client portal to ensure you participate in the process every step of the way.

Once the installation is complete, we will schedule the proper inspections if needed. Then we will give you a final walk-through—or in the case of a door install, we will show you

our work and let you see your new door in person. This last step lets you ask concluding questions and learn about our warranty.

The Cost

The cost of your door will depend on the door you choose. Extremely elaborate and complex doors will cost more than simple doors. The price will also vary by the structure complexity of the door’s location.

While the door installation cost may vary, you can assume that a new door will cost from $1,200-$1,800 per door installed.
