For projects that require plans and/or design services, we will schedule an additional meeting with you and our trade partners who will work on your project to come in and provide us with a detailed scope of work and an estimate. Design and estimating consultations require a fee of approximately 2-3% of the job cost depending on the complexity of your project. All decision makers are highly encouraged to be present during this meeting.

After the consultations, our team will meet to create a proposal tailored to your project. At SMC Construction, Inc., we do not use generic recommendations. All of our proposals are made to fit your budget, lifestyle, and bathroom. You will receive the proposal through our online client portal.

After you have reviewed and accepted our proposal, it is time to get to work. We will start the process by scheduling the bathroom remodel. We will also obtain the required permits for your area and order the project’s materials. We will keep you updated on the remodel’s status in our online client portal. Once everything is prepared, we will schedule a preconstruction meeting with you to answer any questions and update you on the project.

Throughout the bathroom remodel, we will comply with all required inspections to ensure you and your family’s safety. Once the project is complete, we will take you on a final walk-through of your new bathroom. This is the time to ask any lingering questions.
